Printer Not Installing from Printer Deployment Icon

Issue

Some staff may find that printers are not installing when using the Printer Deployment icon.

We are aware of this issue and are currently investigating a permanent fix.


You can install the printer manually by following the steps below:

1. Open File Explorer (click the folder icon or press Windows + E)

2. In the address bar, type: \\ba-print\ and press Enter

3. In the window that appears, find and double-click "Follow Me Printer"

4. Wait for the printer to install automatically

What to Expect

The printer should now appear in your list of available printers and you will be able to print as normal using the Follow Me printer.

If it does not work

Restart your laptop/desktop and try again. If the issue continues, please contact IT Support for assistance.
