Connecting to Guest Wi-Fi (BYOD) – Windows Laptop

Before you start

• You’ll need your Bradford Academy username and password
• Make sure Wi-Fi is turned on

Step-by-step guide

1. Connect to the network

• Click the Wi-Fi icon (bottom right of screen)
• Select BYOD
• Click Connect

2. Enter your details

• Enter your username and password

Important (security settings)

If prompted or if it fails to connect:

• Look for an option like:
• Certificate settings
• More settings
• Advanced settings

Make sure:

• Validate server certificate = Unticked / Off

3. Connect

• Click Connect / OK

You’re done!

You should now be connected to the BYOD Wi-Fi network.
