Using Zoom for meetings without installing onto your device.

Step 1: Open Your Zoom Invitation

  • Locate the Zoom meeting invitation in your email or calendar.
  • Click the meeting link provided by the organiser.

Step 2: Wait for Zoom to Open

  • Your browser will open the Zoom website.
  • Zoom may prompt you to download or open the Zoom application.

Step 3: Select "Join from Your Browser"

  • Look for the link that says Join from Your Browser.
  • This is usually located below the option to download or launch the Zoom application.
  • Click Join from Your Browser.

Step 4: Enter Your Name

  • Type the name you would like other participants to see.
  • Tick the CAPTCHA box if prompted.
  • Click Join.

Step 5: Allow Camera and Microphone Access

  • Your browser may ask for permission to use your microphone and camera.
  • Select Allow if you wish to speak or use video during the meeting.

Step 6: Join the Meeting

  • Choose whether to join with computer audio.
  • You will then enter the meeting and can participate as normal.
